Being over 60 years old, I’ve been around the block a few times and I wanted to take this time to give you my 2 cents worth about a company called Ambit Energy.
Just a few years ago, the US Government mandated deregulation and ordered the break-up of the monopolies the energy companies had in that field.
The Government’s intent was to allow the opportunity for us to lower the amount we pay for our utilities. In the states that have complied with deregulation, there are now, a few new independent companies providing gas and electric to US consumers.

Has deregulation helped?
Well, some time back, our gas price per mcf was over $1.00. Today, National Fuel Gas, in our area charges .62264 per mcf. You’re probably like me. For a couple years now, I’ve been receiving notices in the mail advising me that I could switch over to such and such a company, and save money. Well, I always took the time to look them over and compare, and in every case, the new company’s price was higher than the incumbent provider I was using.

None of those ventures has even come close to being able to offer a real chance to obtain a decent income for the ordinary individual. If you were a good speaker or salesman, you had a chance, but Ambit Energy in different.
Consider just 3 things, out of many important distinctions, Ambit Energy offers;
1, This the Energy Business where the “product” is one that EVERY HOUSEHOLD AND BUSINESS IN AMERICA USES every second, of every minute, of every hour, of every day, of every month, of every year of their lives !!!!
2. There is no product training curve, (what do you need to know about using gas or electric)
3. The “product” renews itself automatically month after month after month after month after month – do you get the picture?
After failing miserably in most other home based businesses I tried, I had always said, if a company would come along and offer something most everybody uses instead of a select few, (weight loss, nutrition etc) and offer it at a price equal to or less than what the consumer could go to the store and purchase it for, then, maybe, just maybe, ordinary, people like myself, could have a real chance at succuss.

Well, I always hesitated, wanting to see if it worked, or helped, for myself, before suggesting it to my friends. After all, my reputation was on the line. I remember, I did do that one time, and I felt pretty sheepish within a week finding out that the whole thing was really a scam.
Ambit Energy is one of the few products or businesses I’ve ever been able to really feel confident about recommending.

I found it encouraging also to find that Ambit, in an effort to stay competitive, just lowered their gas rates in the Erie, Pa. service area.
